Starburst
The summers in Viet Nam are as hot as in the Bahamas
where we picked a bushel of edible flowers.
Our aunt showed us how to sip nectar from the stem.
As the nectar of the flowers passed from the stem to my mouth,
it tasted like a cherry starburst.
